Cauldron Energy (ASX:CXU) hosted senior representatives of Navoiyuran and Uzbekistan's Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology (MINGEO) at its Yanrey Project site in Western Australia over the weekend, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The visit is aimed at furthering the relationship between the parties and represents a key technical due diligence step as they work toward more formal and binding documentation, the filing said.

The company entered a nonbinding memorandum of understanding with Navoiyuran in September 2025 to collaborate in advancing the Yanrey uranium project.

The company's shares fell 3% in recent Tuesday trade.
