Commonwealth Bank of Australia to Offer Up to AU$1 Million in Funding to Develop Approaches to Deal with Financial Abuse

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) is set to offer up to AU$1 million in funding in an initiative to develop and test new approaches to help prevent and identify financial abuse, and strengthen support, according to a Tuesday statement.

The bank invited community organizations with expertise in supporting older people and responding to financial abuse to participate in the initiative.

The program will provide up to five not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises, and community-led organizations with AU$100,000 or AU$200,000 to deliver projects over 12 months.
