Albion Resources (ASX:ALB) started reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its Gidgee Gold Project in Western Australia to test extensions of the German Well South gold target, where mineralization has been identified over around 400 meters of strike, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
Historical drilling returned significant gold intersections, including 21 meters at 5.4 grams per tonne of gold and 16 meters at 5.5 grams per tonne of gold, per the filing.
The RC program is progressing alongside an ongoing air-core (AC) drilling campaign targeting several regional prospects, the filing said.
AC assay results are expected in the coming weeks, while RC assay results are anticipated by late November, the filing added.
