KKR (KKR) has banned non-compete agreements for employees earnings less than $100,000 annually at the companies it owns, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing co-head of global private equity Pete Stavros.
The firm has also banned enforcement of existing non-competes and new non-competes, and aims to expand this policy to employees earning over $100,000 per year, Stavros said at an interview, according to Bloomberg.
KKR did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
