Marcus & Millichap's (MMI) partnership with insurance brokerage Brown & Brown (BRO) has expanded into Canada, the company said Thursday.

Under the partnership, Marcus & Millichap clients and investment professionals in Canada will be able to access Brown & Brown's insurance, risk, and portfolio insights, the company said.

The offerings include support for insurance placement, specialty risk consulting, portfolio analysis, and due diligence, as well as tools to evaluate acquisition opportunities and risks, it said.

The company said the expansion builds on its Canadian commercial real estate business, which it has operated since 2013, and is part of its Preferred Partner Program connecting clients with specialized service providers.
