Astral Resources Says Western Australia Gold Project Mineral Resource Estimate Increases by 102%

Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) said the mineral resource estimate for its Spargoville gold project in Western Australia increased by 102% to 8.5 million tonnes at 1 gram per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 281,000 ounces of contained gold, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The indicated resources increased by 130% to 5.1 million tonnes at 1.1 g/t grade of gold for 186,000 ounces of contained gold, while inferred resources came in at 3.4 million tonnes at 0.9 g/t grade of gold for 95,000 ounces of contained gold.

The update was completed following the reinterpretation and re-estimation of the Spiders, Eagles Nest, 8500N, and 5B deposits.
